Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Rina sarkar, and I am privileged to serve as the director of Dishari Animal Welfare Foundation—an organization driven by love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of our voiceless companions.
For years, I have been deeply moved by the plight of street dogs in our communities. These innocent beings endure hardships daily—abandonment, starvation, injuries, and often cruelty. While their resilience is remarkable, their suffering is a stark reminder of our shared responsibility as humans. This realization inspired the creation of Dishari Animal Welfare Foundation, a humble effort to give these animals the care and dignity they deserve.
At Dishari, we don’t just rescue dogs; we rebuild their lives. From medical treatment for the injured, to finding forever homes for abandoned pets, to feeding hundreds of street dogs daily—we strive to touch as many lives as possible. Yet, our efforts are but a drop in the ocean compared to the magnitude of the challenges faced by our furry friends.
This is why I am reaching out to you today, not as the director of an organization, but as a fellow human who believes in kindness and compassion.
